This publication presents 13 experiences of the UPC’s Technical School of Architecture of Barcelona, represented by the Final Degree Project (FDP), which in these years have been defended in the course presided by Estanislau Roca and formed by Cristina Pardal, Fermín Vázquez and Josep Bohigas or Ibon Bilbao. A big thank you to all the students that have been part of this course. In a major or minor way all of them have contributed to enriching the shared knowledge and the open debate from day zero, starting different paths throughout the FDP, many of which have continued to be developed.

Continuity and connectivity, transversality and linearity, permeability and porosity are the urban concepts that we took into account to understand and design within the Zhabei district in order to propose a project that suits the ideas of a well-networked, inclusive and sustainable city.
