Abstract

The Institute of Basque Studies of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the University of Deusto, with the support of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, presents this volume of Papers on Basque Linguistics in Honor of Jon Franco. The book brings together 16 contributions from more than twenty professors and researchers from different Basque, French and North American universities and research centers.

With these papers, the authors –many of them students, other colleagues, all of them friends– want to pay their heartfelt scientific and personal tribute to the unrepeatable figure of Professor Jon Andoni Franco Elorza.
