Estrategias para construir sociedades inclusivas: Universidades y mujeres migrantes

Abstract

El testimonio ético como herramienta de abordaje comunicativo facilita la revisión de los modos en los que reconocemos y narramos aquellos sujetos que solo son inteligibles en los marcos de representación dominantes. El concepto del testimonio ético se desglosa en cuatro dimensiones: la relación del testimonio y el testigo, el discurso emergente que el testimonio hace emerger, la vulnerabilidad visibilizada en el testimonio y la vinculación de este con las luchas sociales. A partir de estas cuatro dimensiones se analizan ejemplos de campañas y propuestas de activismo en torno a los procesos comunicativos mediante los que las mujeres migrantes muestran cómo las narraciones articuladas en torno al testimonio ético nos ofrecen una posibilidad de adscribir un carácter político y transformador a la comunicación.

Ethical testimony as a communicative approach tool facilitates the revision of the ways in which we recognize and narrate those subjects that are only intelligible in the dominant frameworks of representation. The concept of ethical testimony unfolds into four analytical dimensions: the relationship between the testimony and the witness, the emerging discourse that the testimony makes emerge, the vulnerability made visible in the testimony, and the relationship between the testimony and social struggles. Based on these four dimensions, we analyze examples of campaigns and activism proposals around the communicative processes through which migrant women show how the narratives articulated around ethical testimony offer us the possibility of ascribing a political and transformative character to any communication process.
