MELINCO firstly aims to identify any linguistic and cultural barriers that may exist between the NGDO staff and the foreign migrant population they assist, by paying special attention to standard practices and possible linguistic rights violation of the persons assisted and thereafter identify the training needs in interpreter-mediated professional linguistic mediation. This research project therefore has a clear applicability: the elimination of linguistic and cultural barriers experienced (during NGDO assistance) by these most vulnerable persons.Libro digitalp. 68Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Estudios de comunicaciónMELINCO Report: Linguistic mediation for development cooperation.openAccessSociolingüísticaServicios de asesoramiento y orientaciónIntegración y asimilación social o cultural
